Welcome to St Angela’s and Bonaventure’s Sixth Form Centre. The Centre offers a challenging post-16 Catholic education to all students. We offer a wide range of courses, a record of excellent results and a caring and supportive environment.
Our Catholic Ethos is at the forefront of all we endeavour to achieve, both inside and outside of the classroom. We pride ourselves on being a multi cultural and multi faith centre where all students are welcomed and made part of our community. As a Catholic Centre we believe that all staff and students are to be treated with the respect and kindness that are the core message of the gospels. We offer students time for reflection and evaluation on days of retreat, whilst also providing them with opportunities to be part of the wider community and work for the greater good. As a centre we are committed to providing each student with experiences that will enrich them academically, socially, morally and spiritually. We believe that every student should have the chance to ‘Be Their Best’.
Our faith is evident in many aspects of our school life including shared worship and liturgical celebrations. Whilst the majority of our students are Catholic, we welcome applications from all faiths and cultural backgrounds. We are proud of and greatly value the diversity of our community.
We value everyone as an individual, provide an outstanding range of extra-curricular activities and encourage all students in their progression, both to higher education and to rewarding careers.
All students are assigned a personal tutor and follow a structured tutorial and Citizenship and Progression Programme, which will include the following elements:
- Personal and Social Development
- Health Education
- Citizenship
- Study Skills
- Careers Guidance
- Further and Higher Education Preparation
- Target Setting
If you are ready to work to succeed and want to join our vibrant 6th Form Centre then we look forward to receiving your application.
